Our new £5.7m Jubilee Community Centre is taking shape and is all set to be completed by Spring 2023.

The new centre will provide much needed facilities and significantly improve opportunities for adults with learning disabilities across the town. It will boast a new pool, a rebound room, sensory rooms and many other facilities to make it a key focal point for the community.

The project is being delivered through a partnership with Clear Futures and Bolton Council working with Bolton Cares and Robertson Group. We are very excited by the progress being made, watch the video here (26) Post | Feed | LinkedIn

So far, the pool is concreted ready for the pipework to be installed. The electrical work is being fitted and the internal partition walls are being erected. The front of the building is now in place. We are currently busy with the internal fit out. Looking at fixtures and fittings, deciding colour schemes and procuring artwork to ensure the centre is a vibrant, colourful community hub for everyone to enjoy.

Members of the local community and people who use the existing Jubilee centre have been involved in the decision-making process from the beginning and helped us decide where the new centre should be built and what it will contain.

Sanjeet Bains, Bolton Cares Managing Director said.

“We are delighted with the progress being made with the Jubilee Community Centre. The investment made by our partners Bolton Council will make the project a key community asset for the town for many decades to come.”
