Helping people to have fun

We provide high quality person-centred support and care in a creative and innovative way. Our life opportunities offer a range of activities, aimed at offering support and helping people to have fun, make friends and feel empowered.

We have given our services for adults with a Learning Disability and/or Autism a new, fresh, modern name. It is now known as Our SPACE which means Supporting People with Autism in Community Environments. This fits in with the Bolton Care Group mission to support people to live the life they want, their way.

At Bolton Cares we believe that a person’s disability does not define them and that they have the right to access the same opportunities and fun activities as everyone else.

At Our Space and the new Jubilee Centre, we work with the people we support to co-produce activities to offer a programme that’s packed with sessions that are enjoyable, challenge perceptions, develop life skills and offer the opportunity to do something a bit different out in the community.

Take a look at a snapshot of what we get up to.

Life Opportunities provides Care and Support personalised to each individual to make sure that people get the very best experience out of their person-centred service.

Some of the activities that people have been getting involved in are:-

Accessing the Gym

Accessibility Biking

Physical exercise

Dance classes

Hydrotherapy sessions

Rebound therapy sessions

Cook and eat sessions   and many more
