Earlier this year Bolton Cares was awarded a 10-year contract to continue to deliver, its high-quality brand of person centred, adult social care across Bolton.

Bolton Cares was formed in 2016 when Bolton Council established it as a publicly owned company to protect adult social care services for local people.

Bolton Cares has grown since then to become Bolton’s biggest provider of adult social care with a strong ethos to operate a “do with, not for” approach. Our aim is to empower and support people to become more independent and live their Iife their way. Over the last three years, we have also grown the company and welcomed Salford Cares and Wigan Cares into the family in 2019 and 2022.

The 10-year contract is a fantastic achievement and firmly establishes us in the Bolton business community and at the heart of the care sector in the town.

Sanjeet Bains Bolton Cares Managing Director said.

“We are very excited about the 10-year contract – is a great achievement for Bolton Cares. Being awarded the contract confirms that our innovative, person-centred brand of care is recognised as good and is working well for the people of Bolton. It also helps support the company’s ambitious plans to grow and take our passion and care across the region. It also secures jobs for people in Bolton and continues and builds on the legacy of providing quality and trusted adult social care and support across the town. It is testament to the hard work, commitment and dedication of all the staff and stakeholders involved with the company”
