Our staff teams and the people we support in our Bolton, Salford and Wigan Cares services have dug deep, got their hands dirty and kept buzzy for our first ever Blooming Spaces competition. The results have been amazing!!
We have seen some fantastic displays with sensory and interactive spaces, pops of colour and tranquil havens for people to enjoy. Even a beach themed garden and one which included a yellow brick road.
With over 40 entries, the standard was very high and Lee Casey our own green fingered horticulturalist had a tough time picking the winners.
A big thank you to everyone who supported our first Blooming Spaces competition your gardening skills and your imaginative designs were awe inspiring,
Here are the winners, well done everyone
In first place – Eldon Street Extra Care services
In second place – Langdon Supported Living service
In third place – Limefield Road Supported Living service

Gardening is a wonderful, relaxing and healthy activity that keeps us in our green spaces and gets us out in the fresh air. Here’s to next year’s Blooming Spaces Competition which will be even bigger, so get planning now and to let your ideas and inspirations bud and grow.”
